From: IL-5 and IL-6 are increased in the frontal recess of eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis patients
Measurement of TGF-β, IL-5, IL-6, and iNOS in 36 eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis (ECRS) patients by RT-PCR. In ECRS patients, frontal recess mucosa showed significantly higher expression of IL-5 and IL-6 compared with ethmoid sinus mucosa.
